Day 1: Depart for Tbilisi

Fly to Tbilisi.

Day 2: Tbilisi

Arrival in Tbilisi, meet in the airport and transfer to a hotel for rest.

Tbilisi – the capital of Georgia is an elegant mixture of eastern and western cultures. Venture out in the old winding streets to explore this exotic city and later indulge yourself to sit in the small cozy café and enjoy the picturesque views over the old town. The tour will take you from the century old churches to the amazing panoramic views and famous bath district which attracted lots of people during the centuries.

Day 3: Tbilisi/Mtskheta/Gori/Tbilisi

Start the tour from driving to the ancient capital of Georgia- Mtskheta  and visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Svetitskhoveli cathedral (11^th c) and Jvari monastery, located on a hilltop (6^th cc).

Afterwards continue to wine factory and enjoy more exquisite wines. Afterwards we visit Gori and its surrouding to try different kind of wines. Here we visit the local family and experience traditional bread baking process in “Tone”. Then drive back to Tbilisi for an overnight.

Day 4: Tbilisi/Kazbegi/Tbilisi

Along the Georgian Military Highway, we drive to Kazbegi. En route visit Ananuri Fort with Jinvali artificial lake at the background.

Upon arrival in Kazbegi we start walking up to Gergeti Trinity church (14th c). Hiking up to the mountain is of moderate difficulty but it is all worthwhile. The beauty all along the way and up to the church will make you forget about tiredness. If the weather permits, you may even see one of the highest peaks in the Caucasus –Mt. Kazbegi (5047 m).

Drive back to Tbilisi and overnight.

Day 5: Tbilisi/Kvareli

Start the day with travelling to Kakheti region and take part in exciting Georgian harvest. Pick the grapes with locals and carry them back to local family home to squeeze wine. After all work is done we can relax and enjoy feast.

At dinner you will experience the unique tradition of having “Tamada” (toast master) who will lead the east and cheer up the guests.

Overnight in Kvareli.

Day 6: Kvareli/Tbilisi

Morning free to recover from yesterdays’ feast.

Today we compare home-made wine with bottled wines. Visit Khareba winery, go through the tunnels and enjoy award winning wines, as well as breathtaking views. Afterwards we head to visit Gremi complex (16^th c) and later on, filled with unforgettable impressions drive back to Tbilisi for an overnight.

Day 7: Departure home

Transfer to the airport and departure.
