Day 1: Arrive in Kutaisi/Batumi/Kutaisi

Arrive at Kutaisi International Airport. Transfer to Batumi and enjoy the tour of Old Batumi with Batumi Port, Piazza and Era Squares; Batumi Boulevard. In the afternoon transfer back to Kutaisi – the town built on the routes of legendary Aia – the royal town of King of Colchis Aeet.

Dinner and overnight at a guesthouse with en-suite facilities in Kutaisi.

Day 2: Kutaisi/Gelati/Uplistsikhe/Mtskheta/Tbilisi

Start the tour by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Bagrati Cathedral and Gelati Monastery as well as the Colchic Fountain and colorful agricultural market. Transfer to Tbilisi,

Follow the Great Silk Road and visit the cave city of Uplistsikhe. The town is dug in the sun-stone plateau and is of beautiful golden color. Initially there had been more than 500 caves, but during the existence of 3000 years it has lost much of it.

Continue to the ancient capital of Mtskheta,  Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery – UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Enjoy the magnificent views of Mtskheta, located on the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari Rivers, from Jvari Monastery. Transfer to Tbilisi.

Day 3: Free day in Tbilisi

Relax and explore Tbilisi on your own.

Day 4: Tbilisi/Kutaisi

In the morning before departing for Kutaisi we’ll have a short guided walking tour of Tbilisi visiting the highlights of the Old Town with beautiful Orthodox Christian Churches, Mosque, Synagogue, famous and refreshing Sulphur Baths, narrow cobbled streets with hanging wooden carved multi-colored balconies and the 19th century houses following the architectural styles of the 19th century Europe, Narikala Fortress, the glass Bridge of Peace.

Transfer to Kutaisi.

Dinner and overnight at a guesthouse with en-suite facilities in Kutaisi.

Day 5: Departure

Transfer to the airport and depart.
