Day 1: Arrive in Batumi

Arrive at Batumi International Airport. Transfer to Batumi and enjoy the tour of Old Batumi with Batumi Port, Piazza and Era Squares; Batumi Boulevard.

Overnight at a hotel in Batumi.

Day 2: Batumi/Tbilisi

In the morning transfer to the railway station and depart for Tbilisi. Arrive in Tbilisi and transfer to a hotel.

In the afternoon we have a guided walking tour of Tbilisi visiting the highlights of the Old Town with beautiful Orthodox Christian Churches, Mosque, Synagogue, famous and refreshing Sulphur Baths, narrow cobbled streets with hanging wooden carved multi-colored balconies and the 19th century houses following the architectural styles of the 19th century Europe, Narikala Fortress, the glass Bridge of Peace.

Day 3: Free day in Tbilisi

Relax and explore Tbilisi on your own.

Day 4: Tbilisi/Mtskheta/Uplistsikhe/Kutaisi

Today you’ll visit Mtskheta – the ancient capital of Georgia and see UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Jvari Monastery (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century). Svetitskhoveli is known as the church where the part of Jesus’ Robe is buried and is the holiest church in Georgia.

Follow the Great Silk Road and visit the cave city of Uplistsikhe. The town is dug in the sun-stone plateau and is of beautiful golden color. Initially there had been more than 500 caves, but during the existence of 3000 years it has lost much of it.

Transfer to Kutaisi.

Dinner and overnight at a guesthouse with en-suite facilities in Kutaisi.

Day 5: Kutaisi/Gelati/Batumi/Departure

Morning visit to UNESCO World Heritage Site – Gelati Monastery and Academy.

Transfer to Batumi and enjoy some free time before departure. Drive to the airport and depart.
