Tbilisi Museums
Duration 4hours, involves walking from one museum to another
With its long history and a very reach cultural heritage Georgia has a well-deserved niche in the history of humanity. Tbilisi being the capital of Georgia combines many interesting museums.
We visit the History Museum of Georgia with the stunning golden treasury, archaeological hall and the Soviet occupation halls; Art Museum of Georgia to see gold icons and crosses from very early centuries; National Gallery to see the paintings of Georgian famous painters.
Along Rustaveli Avenue there’s one more highlight of our tour today – Rustaveli Academic Theatre, built in 1901.
- Available daily except Mondays and public holidays
- Museums open not earlier than 10am
- Visit to the theatre isn’t available in July-mid September period and highly depends on performance schedule
