Day 1: Arrive in Tbilisi
Arrive in Tbilisi and transfer to a hotel.
Day 2: Tbilisi/Mtskheta/Kazbegi
We have walking tour of Tbilisi visiting the highlights of the Old Town with beautiful Orthodox Christian Churches, Mosque, Synagogue, famous and refreshing Sulphur Baths, narrow cobbled streets with hanging wooden carved multi-colored balconies and the 19th century houses following the architectural styles of the 19th century Europe, Narikala Fortress, the glass Bridge of Peace. Continue to take a short tour to Mtskheta with Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery — UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Travel to the Great Caucasus Mountains along the Georgian Military Highway.
Stop to see Ananuri Fort with beautiful Churches located at the lee of the Great Caucasus Mountains and on top of Jinvali Water Reservoir. The setting is really magnificent and the carving of the church an unexpected discovery.
Continue over the serpentine road of the Cross Pass so named by Russian Emperor Catherine II. The Cross Pass is also the watershed and rivers on the other side of the Cross Pass flow to Russia. You descend from 2395m – the highest point of the Cross Pass to 1700m, Kazbegi.

Day 3: Kazbegi
Today we take a leisure 3hr roundtrip walk to Gergeti Trinity Church. The walk is magnificent and offers passing the meadows and the tiny forests. The views from the top are fabulous and the church is definitely worth visiting.
In a clear weather, lucky enough, we’ll see Mt. Kazbegi – the ice-peak, glacier that never melts.
Walk back to Kazbegi and transfer to Dariali Gorge to enjoy an afternoon walk to Gveleti Waterfalls. Return to Kazbegi.

Day 4: Kazbegi/Juta/Kazbegi
Travel to the remote village of Juta by 4WD. Severe winters and high snow in Khevi province block the car paths and Juta is isolated from the rest of the world for 6 months. Only several families stay in the village in winter and they keep their cattle on the ground floor to avoid the wild animal attacks. Before starting our walk, we visit a local family to taste Matsoni (Georgian sour yogurt) and home-made mountain honey. Today’s walk brings us to the lee of picturesque Mt. Chaukhebi. We cross mountain streams and finish our walk at the moraine. Relax at our finish point and later return to Juta. On top of the village at the mountain camp, we’ll enjoy tea and coffee and later return to Kazbegi.

Day 5: Kazbegi/Truso/Gudauri
We drive to Kobi village and continue to Truso Valley. We pass the deserted villages and start our walk close to the river. Enjoy the walk to the white travertine. This walk ends close to the remote villages and then we return to our vehicle. Transfer to Gudauri.

Day 6: Gudauri/Khada/Tbilisi
This morning we take a walk to Khada Fort and down the Khada Gorge through the valley full of wild flowers and sour springs. Meet our vehicle in Qvesheti village and transfer to Tbilisi.
